My Cats

I have 4 cats which is a little unheard of considering 3 is a house full. Rufus is my most recent rescue. He was dumpster diving at an apartment complex when I found him.

Alex Have you ever seen a Golden Serval? That's my Alex, a gift from the gods. Born with a warrior's spirit and zest for life, Alex is almost 4 years old. Since I discovered him broken and left for dead in a parking lot, he has surprised us all by making a full recovery. His way of thanking us? Constant companionship, nose rubs, and those sing songy meows. He's coined the nickname, "Alley" for Alex, the Alley Cat. And, of course, in formal appreciation, I created a blog in his name. Click here to learn more about Alex.
Pooh Meet the oracle named Pooh. Pooh is a Snow Lynx, a very rare breed of small exotic cat and better known as a Manx. With her sparkling white fur, you'll notice Pooh's sapphire blue eyes right off. She's the spirit of our home, always there but just a little out of reach. Pooh loves to find warm places to sleep from curled up by my legs to warm blankets by the fire. Click here to meet my other two cats.
